i want to do 2 things if possible to the email client , i want to find a way to increase the update times (to once a minute) possibly by doing something like how i increased the dim and blank times... and #2 , is there anyway to change the sound when youhave mail??? any help is appreciated

You shouldn't try to set e-mail checking to less than five minutes unless you are personally hosting the mail server. Otherwise you might find yourself automatically banned for attempting to DoS the server. There's also no such thing as a human being on this planet that needs their email checked once a minute. Keep it at 5. Your e-mail provider and fellow clients will thank you for it.

i use thunderbird on my home pc, and its set to check once a minute , and i like having notification of my new mail asap when it is sent , i dont like 5 minute intervals
