I've had nothing but issues with mine when paired with my N800. It works great with gpsdrive and also my blackberry pearl.

Anyone else have any experience with this receiver?

Same problem with me, I have this one as spare GPS and it did pair, but GPS applications like Maemo Mapper cannot connect with it.
The other one I have (Qstarz) works flawlewssly.
