hi peeps, just wondering if someone could help me out.I have installed a quirky little app called braek (i think thats how its spelt) and its rendered my screen un responsive right over the uninstall button in task manager lol.So i thought i would ask you guys if i can remove it via terminal and if so which command i might require to do the job.Any helps good help. Thanx in advance.
thanks very much for ya help. Can i just ask if its the same command for uninstalling any app? (new to this xterm lark) lol.
Yes, exactly the same. The apt commands are pretty much the same as in debian (though maybe missing some of the newer options), so you should be able to find plenty of documentation online if you want to know more.
i also want to uninstall wmlbrowser add on for the browser but it just wont go away even when i click uninstall and restart the browser. HELP!
You may need to reboot - the browser runs both as a backend daemon process, and as the front-end GUI (which makes it faster to start up), so you may need to reboot (or manually kill off all the browser processes) to get rid of add-ons.
