6/10 for me. Would of been 7 but I forgot C and VB. Trying to learn Python right now though.

How do 77% of the people who voted have the time to spend 5 plus hours on the internet. Then again it makes sense they would have time to take the poll

I got 7/10 here. Soon to be 8/10.

Also, I don't think star trek is a valid geekiness. I'm pretty geeky, but I just don't like star trek.....

Then you cannot be a geek.

Before you get your geek card.. you must watch, at the least, all of the movies .

Would have to agree with fatalsaint here, I'd also consider basic Star Trek knowledge essential to a true geek foundation

0 from 10 for me.

i think they are more "nerd" than "geek" questions.

- I play/played MMOs (WoW, EvE, etc)
No way. I'm 30. Used to play Monkey Island, Doom, etc.

- I read/watch Anime/Manga
No way. It's for kids. Only Dragon Ball when I was 20.

- I get most of my news through RSS feeds
Not needed. Watch news on TV 30 minutes keeps me informed

- I spend 5+ hours/day (non-work related) on the internet
There is life out on the streets! Go ang get it.

- I have a gamertag/id
WTF is that?

- I know what noob, tldr, diaf and lulz means
noob is common, the others ones... where do you use them?

- I am comfortable navigating at least THREE different OS
Windows at work and Linux at home. Mac sucks.

- I can name 5 characters in Star Wars
Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke, Leia, Han, Darth Vader.

- I know name alien three races in Star Trek
Star Trek sucks...

- I can program in at least one language
If you know how to program, you can program in any language

So, 2/10

I failed on several points of the quiz, but can I get extra bonus points for 8 years as mod/admin at TrekBBS.com?
