True, but I always turn the brightness down anyway. N1 on highest brightness hurts my eyes.... unless I'm outside. Then it has to be on highest brightness in order to barely read it

I actually meant that I find the N900 has a sharper picture; the N1 looks fuzzy (similar to the way the iPhone picture looks fuzzy to me), likely directly related to it having a lower resolution screen.

GPS is global positioning system. What you do with it varies as much as a persons creativity. I also use it when I go hiking, geocaching and Jeeping out in the middle of nowhere. It's also great for camping, walking around a town you don't know, etc.

By "special hardware" I mean accessories required in order to do what the N900 does out of the box. If you want to hook your iPhone to your television to watch whats on it's screen, you have to go purchase accessories for it. If that clears it up.

So again, you claiming I mislead someone is at least wrong, at most insulting.
I didnt want to insult you , I'm just saying that there are different preferences in each devices for everyone. If someone would ask me about N900 I would also tell him about what I currently have and use and not something that is planned or is implemented on hardware level only.
Before N900 i had N95 8gb with same VGA output. Also I used pedestrian navigation a lot especially during the time when I moved to Canada, I was traveling to downtown area of Toronto so I miss that feature
