I can confirm it works in the conversations application. I shall test others soon, busy trying to find out if it is AT ALL possible to use 3's free msn service on N900. When I'm completely satisfied that I inevitably can't, I shall continue testing the rotations.
Portrait mode makes such a great change to usability (just tested in leaked 1.2)! A real pity the onscreen keyboard does not work in portrait mode.. crossing fingers for it to work eventually...
yeah but i'd hope instead of pressing the shortcut's CTRL + SHIFT + R,we'd just rotate it by using the built-in accelerometer..but yeah,as Kyron said, it's quite a big step in 6months of N900 existance..
perhaps we could see a bright future in N900 although MEEGO devices hav been announced.. =)
