Just disable extras-devel and update it from extras-testing. It is something to do with the newer version of the package and was the same in PR1.1.1

There is already a thread on this so in future please search the forums before posting.

I'm getting this error when I write apt-get -f install. Anyone know what the problem is? I've tried the extras version. It tries to update it in app manager but it fails. Thanks!

    Code:
    Setting up account-plugin-salut (0.8) ...
    /var/lib/dpkg/info/account-plugin-salut.postinst: line 6: /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon: not found
    dpkg: error processing account-plugin-salut (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of telepathy-extras:
     telepathy-extras depends on account-plugin-salut; however:
Package account-plugin-salut is not configured yet.
    dpkg: error processing telepathy-extras (--configure):
     dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
    Errors were encountered while processing:
     account-plugin-salut
     telepathy-extras
    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Bah, shouldn't have fixed the upstart-job thing since it's broken on a higher level...
Edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/account-plugin-salut.postinst and comment out (add a # to the start of the line) this line
    Code:
    /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon start
    Code:
    # /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon start

A Maemo update fixed it in my case, if that helps. Dunno whether it's been rolled out to you guys yet.
