    It would be best if you came here with your N900 browser and then copy-and-pasted from the terminal to a post here.

    this is what i get qole

    debian chroot runs and throws this error before crashing onpressing ok



    /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3d.img.ext2 failed to mount on loop0


    mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on /.debian failed: Device or resource busy

    Now that looks OK.

    Have you rebooted since you went through all this? That might help to get rid of device busy errors.

    mashah: I must confess that I don't understand what's wrong.

    Maybe the "real" error is happening the first time you try to run Easy Debian, and the error you are showing here is what you get on all subsequent attempts.

    So, please try a reboot like rebhana suggested, and then try the red swirl "Debian chroot" again (don't run any other Debian icons first, like the red diamond).

    mashah: Try click on CLOSE DEBIAN to correctly close the mounted image file (if any). Then check your .chroot file (/home/user/.chroot) to make sure it is setup correctly. Probably your image path is not correctly setup after unsuccessful installations.
