there are no shortcomings!
the device is much further along than i expected it to be at this point, maybe if you bought the device thinking it was a just a phone you would be dissapointed, but im sure most of us knew it was a beta device to see if maemo could rule the world, unfortunately that got thrown out of the window with the meego announcement
but i still think we should all bow down and thank nokia for releasing this device 'to us' modders / geeks / testers / developers, to play with (while they sort themselves out!)
thats how i see it anyway

HEY, there is an "app for that". n900Fly is in games. Unfortunately the slider activation isn't working properly yet.

We should bear in mind that ..

The N900 is a mini computer with limited phone functions ..

The n900 is not a cell phone with limited functions of computer ..
