I downloaded some application. i download loads i cant remember what this ones called but bassicly my N900 has run out of battery and now when i turn it on i get some boot menu which gives me the opttion to either 'internal flash' or boot from off' (when not charging)

Neither of them will allow my phone to power up though any ideas?

Completely charge the battery and power it on without the keyboard slid out.

I had this same problem couple of days ago. But I did this experimentally.
When I powered on N900 with pressed U and abort re flash procedure.

I had fully charged battery and keyboard slide down. So.. I repeated flash procedure from beginning to the end this time, problem solved.

    Edit:
No worries Flashing your device doesn't hurt you. And you don't need to create 2 threads for the same thing, as Na'Vi says I see you

I'm having the same issues. I fu****ed up something in my OS and now the N900 is unbootable. So I tried reflashing. I followed the flashing instructions but I did install the same app to have a Boot Menu, so every time a try to power on the n900 with the "u" button pressed I get the "Suitable USB device not found, waiting" message and then the menu with the 2 options "internal flash" and power off

So summarizing, my N900 is unbootable due to me touching what I shouldn't have...
and I can't reflash due to the boot menu... any solutions ? please ^^

Turn the phone off. Setup flasher so it's waiting on "Suitable USB device not found..."

Hold U. Plug in the USB cable. Flash. Make pie and eat it.
