I just read a thread that says Maemo 5 can't be loaded on an N810.
Maemo 5 needs hardware graphics acceleration for some of its parts to function, and Nokia didn't bother to release an edition without 3D acceleration.
But I was also reading that Quasar can be loaded on an N810, but I think Quasar is only available for Maemo 5.
Can the new Opera mobile browser be loaded on an N810 with OS2008?

1) No, Maemo5 can not run on N810
2) Yes, Quasar runs great on N810 see here: link
You need to enable the extras-devel repo to install it
3) Yes, Opera Mobile runs on OS2008
