Hi everybody,

I am new to Maemo 5 development, want to switch to Meego when it's ready and am currently facing a few problems to get started (with the goal of writing a Computer Vision application).

On the latest VM (from http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-d...-downloads.php, I think) I get the following error while Validating Installed Packages in Esbox:

Problems encountered while installing packages
Process 'fakeroot apt-get -o Acquire::http::Timeout=30 update' for FREMANTLE_ARMEL exited with code 100

Furthermore, when I create a new hello world C++ app in Esbox and just want to run it (run as local Maemo in Esbox), it enters an infinity loop. Looks like it gets caught up in running the automake script.

Any help is appreciated.
