anyway, i know you've said a few times now that you won't touch the open GL support yourself but have encouraged others to do so, well, has anyone began taking up the challenge yet? i wouldn't know where to begin myself but if you point me at somene with the technical know-how i can go round there with a large stick and some duct tape and do some serious convincing!

2. Put it in your PC CD-drive
3. Run CD Burning app
4. Dump bin/cue image

what can we burn it with, i just tried media player and it dont want to know i dont think i have anything else on windows. could i use a program from ubuntu?

You've cut it out of context. I was talking about diagonal buttons not OpenGL ES based GPU emulation.
