I'm assuming you're talking about Ovi Maps.
Use the Nokia Map Loader: http://www.nokiausa.com/get-support-...d#/nokia-n900/
Install the Map Loader, plug in your N900 and put it in Mass Storage mode (not PC Suite), launch Map Loader, and it should detect your phone. From there, it should be easy enough.
There have been issues reported with Windows 7. Search the forums if you're having issues.
