Hi,

I have created .deb file of my first Qt application and tried
to install it on N900 using the command
dpkg -i testprg.deb
but the installation process stopped by showing the following line.

unpacking replacement testprg1.0
setting up testprg1.0.....

I could not able to see my installed application in Maemo device
How can I solve this problem?

Please supply all of the output from the installation.

Hi,

Here is the full output after the dpkg command is being executed.

(Reading database ... 33506 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace testprg-1.0 (using .../.mica/testprg-1.0_armel.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement testprg-1.0 ...
Setting up testprg-1.0 (1.0-1) ...

And what do you expect to find after the installation? Have you looked in the package and made sure that it contains the file(s) you want to install?
