Here is the original blue theme lockslider:
copy it to /usr/share/themes/alpha/backgrounds/lockslider.png
I think that if you uninstall the app when you have no notification, you will not have this problem.

using the above 'lockslider.png' and location: /usr/share/themes/alpha/backgrounds/lockslider.png, i have managed to get the original lockscreen back without the bug :-)

can email notification be added? or is that too deep within modest's clutches. i hate that it only shows me the last email, i have to wade thru all the accounts to check them manually

@dbs11 : at the moment is not possible to change the Font style/size. I think I have to make a configuration gui to let users changes it...
@Inacurate : I will dig on it, I don't know at the moment how it could be implemented
