Yea WiFi not 3G. im 2 feet away from the router.
It seems every time I try to do something on the N900 there is a list of apps and instructions just to do the simplest things.

Do you have "Extra Dcoders Support" downloaded? It's a nice pack of codecs that might solve your prob if it would turn out to be your device's shortcoming in supported media types.
Also, if it used to work before, then what do you think might've changed since "before"? Maybe you changed apps or maybe your WiFi is configured differently now? Are you sure nobody's hijacked your bandwith from your Wifi? Are you sure your router isn't acting up?

Sorry i cant answer your quwstion, i dont use my n900 for this.
But did you really nneed to use profanities in your title, your not helping your case at all, most of the people who could help you probably took one look at your title and thought "another whining troll" if you you had phrased your problem as a polite request for help you would have probably had half a dozen people going out of their way to help you by now.
ps, could a mod please edit the thread title, i let my little brother come on here with my n900 to look for games he'd like me to install!
