Can someone try reinacting this to see if it crashes for you too. I was thinking maybe it's a bug with the media player, but I thought I read that someone had it complete disabled and the still have the same problems

nothing to do with PR1.2 RC Leaked at all. i have had my n900 since October 30th so i have been keeping track and logging bug reports from day 1. it should all be fixed in PR1.2.........

Both times this has happened to me there has been very little free diskspace on rootfs.
This is not through me having used it up, as with normal use I have 40MB free. So this space is taken up by something temporarily. Last time, I didn't even reboot and the space was freed.
My non-scientific working theory is that this space actually dropped to zero, and hildon-desktop wanted to write something to update the widgets, this failed, and the entire widgets data was lost.

also. im now running the RC PR1.2 which obviously still has the issue as they are still working on it and i have 90mb free root. it still happens.
i have installed actmanager to restore the desktop quickly

My connect now widget disappeared and this is the first time I have had problem with my N900.

PR1.2 supposedly has an automated optifying script, or something. Don't take my word for it. Someone else elaborate.
