I have this problem too, but it seems be different from everyone else's
Current Running widgets:
touchsearch
OM weather widget
feed widget
to do list (calendar)
OVI
media player
When i restart my phone
my media player doesn't work (I can open the media player, but i can't play songs from the widget)
What I have to do is delete the widget off my desktop and put it back there and it works again
I pan through my home desktop and my OM weather widget, and touchsearch dissapear.
Can someone try reinacting this to see if it crashes for you too. I was thinking maybe it's a bug with the media player, but I thought I read that someone had it complete disabled and the still have the same problems

Both times this has happened to me there has been very little free diskspace on rootfs.
This is not through me having used it up, as with normal use I have 40MB free. So this space is taken up by something temporarily. Last time, I didn't even reboot and the space was freed.
My non-scientific working theory is that this space actually dropped to zero, and hildon-desktop wanted to write something to update the widgets, this failed, and the entire widgets data was lost.

Can anyone tell me the name of the app that displays Rootfs space as the widget?
And does PR 1.2 have some way of freeing up the Rootfs?
I'm also a moderator of the Applications, Nokia N900, and Maemo 5/Fremantle forums.
