Since you cannot connect through USB mode, the only other alternative I see to get your notes is via some ftp program.

Do you have already rootsh installed and know the root password ?
If yes, you can install some program like filezilla, smartftp, ftppro in your PC to login to your N900. Then transfer your conboy notes to your PC.

Once copied you can open it via Tomboy application from your PC.

Hope it helps

LOL this is getting funny and sad on my end. What do I need to do to get my the N900 to be available so I can make a copy of my files?
Does it not automatically choose mass storage mode if it is
turned off before you connect it through usb?

What about trying to connect through the usb, but turning (and keeping) the device of?

I think you should at least be able to download from your memory card.

I want to give an update on the Phone. I was able to backup all my data and send the phone to Nokia for warranty. it came back today. The touch screen works fine for 2 hours, all of the sudden, it started to act weird. When I swipe the screen to screen, it would stop in between screen.

I reset the Phone, The screen stopped responding. LOL this is really sad. I tried flashing the firmware, it does not work. This is a really bad Nokia experience.
