While we are on the question of flashing...has anyone a suggestion/solution for my issue?
I installed titans v25 - it works fantastic, no problem at all, however, when i loaded the starving settings and then typed in the limits - as suggested by the wiki, my '900 rebooted and since then i have not been able to install/delete/download any programs from my app manager.
Even when i have tried the x terminal to revert back to the default kernel, it wont revert back to the original. so i currently have v25 on and not able to download/install.
Is this as a result of the unstablitiy of my device with starve settings?
Is there any solution apart from reflashing the device?
Thanks

Sorry.. forgot to tell you to change to the firmware image too. You can get it here. http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php
Download both the RX-51 and Vanilla images. You could start by trying just the RX-51 and if thats not working also do the vanilla.

after updating, i load my setup by kernel-load.
and i click on status bar, it reboots suddenly and stuck before pin code input interface.
i try to reflash kernel by maemo flashser, but it didn't work.

I had a problem with the contact widgets disappearing after upgrading to the maemo34. I reverted back to the maemo27 and the widgets showed up again. I then upgraded again to maemo34 and the same happened.
So it seams the kernel might not be ready for extras-testing yet.
I attach my output from flashing the kernel. Is it supposed to SIGTERM at the end?

flasher-3.5 -k zImage-STOCKpr1.1.1 -f -R
just a bit of a pain to be without the phone last night. Just sharing this in case anyone has problems with the kernels, a full reflash should not be required, just use the stock PR1.1.1 from Lehto's site. If you've upgraded to the PR1.2 RC then it might be different though..
