I see no reason why nokia should release PR 1.2 on monday.

There is also bright side on this delay.. It definitely speeds up alternative os development for N900

I really like Maemo, but this Nokia PR1.2 farce will make me hope there will be some fully functional alternative os for N900.

Fully functional os for n900? what are u talking about? meego? I don't see how that os will be more complete than maemo...at least not in a life circle of n900(my life circle is about two years from release).

i don't understand why u guys still put faith in nokia that they can put things right. just install the leaked pr 1.2 n be done with it, and never buy from nokia again.

what a waste of potential.

I don't. But love the n900 and the community and this thread and...

Best to have several phones and Os cus no one is perfect. (except chuck norris)

Would be nice with one super andriod with real keybord. Don't like droid/milestone. there is none on my radar at the moment .

Will go for x10 mini pro and try to include pr 1.2 in that one.

I mean fully functional alternative os.. for example Android/NITDroid.

Maemo is great, only problem is that as Nokia has control of it we have to wait long time for bugfixes and it's likely that PR1.2 will be last update to N900. It will be great if Meego will get fully functional on N900, but because it will not be good for mobile phone business. I think we are not going to see that happen. Or if we are it will not be done by Nokia
