Sorry about the questions, but to be fair there are like 3000+ posts in here, I only kept up until it got to around 80
Benefits of titan's kernel is that it not only provides a lot more flexible method of overclocking, it also uses a newer kernel that has many new features/enhancements.

Read the first couple of paragraphs here for more info:
http://wiki.maemo.org/Kernel_Power

Also, it has safety measures so that you don't get stuck into a reboot loop if you attempt to overclock too high and if your phone can't handle it.

I make my phone reboot at stock default speeds/voltage.
Then, I press the overclock beecon to raise the speed.
You can quite safely try out various speeds this way.

Now, all I have to do is append "&& dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest=oh.no.more.qbw /oh/no/more/qbwid0 oh.no.more.qbw.update_content" to all the widgets' commands and I get to be more lazy!

I haven't tried his latest D-Bus supporting version but once he feels it is okay enough to put into the repo's, I'll update it. =P
I actually would just as prefer snippets to change color upon the exit codes. Not sure why he's restricting that to just hexagonal beecons.

Ciao, cannot drag latest dbus version into standard-repos as it'll be compiled against PR1.2 libs ... and it'll be useless on current N900 terminals untill PR1.2 is released.

No specific technical reason... just RESPECT towards its ancestor!!!
As a workaround, you can create background .png images the size of your beecon and with relevant frame/transparency as in Queen BeeCon Widget - GPRS Compact Data Monitor HERE

Hi guys

I put this one to the kernel

1. Launch xterminal
2. root
3. kernel-config load ideal
4. kernel-config limits 250 850
5. kernel-config save idea

and

1. Launch xterminal
2. root
3. kernel-config load ideal
4. kernel-config limits 250 1000
5. kernel-config save ideal_1000

but.. when I set it the lower step is just 500 . I have to enable the ulv ??

Next -->

and how I can change the background of the BeeCon widgets ?!

Looked into everything i can think of and ran out of ideas. Like i said before i have not modified anything. was working pre ver 27 on phone.
Problem
Running an un modded v34 etc/pmconfig file untouched
Tried a full uninstall and reinstall
All config settings revert back including Ideal/LV and manually setting max/min cpu freq.
Any ideas greatly appriciated.
cheers

Edit I seem to remember this was a problem with an earlier kernel and was sorted by changing default freq from 600 to 599 or something along those lines.Anyone remember how this was solved?
Anyone any suggestions at all? Can anyone remember the original workaround so I can give that a try.

Did you try avoid frequencies ? i had same trouble when using browser and titan pointed me to this command

echo > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/avoid_frequencies

echo 125000 250000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/avoid_frequencies

try them in the order above should fix it .

Ou yes ... I found the solution..

1. Launch xterminal
2. root
3. kernel-config load lv
4. kernel-config limits 250 850
5. kernel-config save lv_ideal

thats it now.. but @jakiman

Can you told me what I have to do for make the BeeCon widget for this ulv settings or... can you give me maybe this Beecon Exports for this widgets which I need now ??

second question --> how I can set this value to standard - at the moment I have to load my preferred setting over the Xterminal (hopefully soon widget of BeeCon)
When I reboot my N900 there is the 500 - 850 setting ON.

This settings control the background appearance/color of beecons and snippets
