Hallo, in last few (2-3) weeks I have an impression of my phone connection slowing down. I mean GPRS/EDGE in Czech Republic. Im almost unable to surf the web, ICQ works fine. I dont remember having this kind of problem before - Ive got this phone since the beginning of March and I was really content with it.

My friend, having E71 with Opera MIni is on web quite quickly (we tried zpravy.idnes.cz for this test) and Im waiting 4-5x longer - both with microb and opera mobile ...

It started around that time I was testing LPR1.2, but Im not entirely sure what was first ... Anyway, the speed of surfing is same as weird in both 1.1 and 1.2 leaked ...

Could it be caused by the problem with GSM fw? So, just asking, anybody else feeling like having connection slowed down?

Your friend is probably having the Opera Turbo -function on in his Opera Mini. That makes surfing with it faster on slower connections. On N900's Opera Mobile it is turned off by default, but you can turn it on from the Settings-menu. That should make surfing on GPRS/EDGE with N900 faster.
