I was sold on getting the Archos 605 Wifi, but now i'm interested in the n800 because of it's highly rated internet experience. But i want a good video experience also, which is what the 605 excels at.

Q: Lets say i'm at home and i have a Wifi connection. I have lots of videos stored on my PC. Am i able to connect to my PC via WiFi and stream video content to the n800? Or must the videos be stored on the n800?

Also, there is no way to hook it to a tv for video playback to the tv?

Thanks for your help!

John

Yes, video streaming from PC to N800 via WiFi is possible via several applications readily available. Which one you use on the N800 and which converter you MAY need on the PC for some formats depends on what types of video you intend to stream. There is a wealth of information on this forum - all you have to do is "Search".

There is no way to connect the N800 to your TV for video playback. This has also been discussed in the forum.
