It should find update automatically. Backing up stuff is always wise (also it´s wise to copy that backup folder from n900 once in a while to your desktop computer). It doesn't overwrite your personal data if you update over the air.

so i guess the question now is when will the OTA version appear in the app manager?
i am on vodafone but i already flashed my phone to pr1.1.1 so i assume i will get the OTA update when it goes live.

so right now its te tuesday in USA so like someone already mentioned, we wont get it until wednesday!!?? lame but awesome at the same time lol!!

New article needs to be posted naaaaoooo! with toons of links to pics and ofcourse users posting up good vids and tutorials of the new firmware!! That would help the community get a jump on things. Cant wait till tomorrow then!!

btw does this mean my changed transition/oc'd/full of apps n900 will get reset and i will lose everything including emulator saves and documents?? just curious.

I got mine from the US company so it means 002 ending...tomorrow then

good question , just to be safe i'm uninstalling all extras devel apps and modifing apps such as Catorise

go to contacts hit All contacts then Export and follow wizard's steps
