I guess I'd need Windows for that?

The explanation that my rootfs doesn't have enough free space seems plausible. Freeing up space now.

Your looking at the wrong directory, your available rootfs should XXmb, to check download either conky or health check, both are really usefull apps to have anyway.

I'm uninstalling a bunch of stuff too, see if it makes a difference. Still frustrating that Nokia's Update Service tells me I have the current software...

Yeah, I realised I was been a dunce! 75mb now, still uninstalling some bits...

To check how much space you've got on the rootfs, the easiest way to go is via xterm:

    Code:
    df -h /
If the PR 1.2 doesn't show up in your update list, it has nothing to do with the rootfs, you'll have to wait for it to become available for your device, or use the flasher with a downloaded image.

    First impressions:
    1. This is obviously old news, but it's nice to actually be able to dial USSD codes directly with the Phone application.
    2. Maps seems to get a GPS lock faster.
    3. Email client loads mail folders (esp. my gigantic Gmail inbox) faster
    4. Long press for numbers and symbols is also very useful
    5. Qt 4.6 included by default. I'm a developer so this is useful for me.
    6. Email widget is nice but I want it to be able to show read messages as well. I don't like having to see the (no unread messages) message.
    7. I still can't create playlists in the media player. What's up with that?
i've also noticed an increased speed while browsing conversations and app catalogs (still no fremantle-1.2 except for maemo.org)

If I flash using PC/MAC, not flashing emmc, will all my music, photos and conatcts stay? (using backup, too)

    Help!
I can't update... the phone detected the new firmware as soon as it was online, but it asked me to update via USB cable..

OK, done... Nokia Software asked for an update... OK, done... and now...
The f***ing Nokia Update Manager keep saying my phone is up-to-date, even when the phone itself recognize there's a new update.

I had this problem once before and I updated via terminal, but I can't find that exact thread, neither remember the commands...

    HELP

Yes the e-mail client is lot faster now. Thank god. It was pain in the ***.
