yep already done that, i looked up how to free space but im not confident enough to start executing terminal commands, any other way of freeing up space?
disable all un-needed repositories and uninstall any unused themes
It seems it freed up that dependency on libgles1-sgx-img which would've been broken after the PR1.2 update..
So.. if you have GLtron installed.. scrub it off.. and maybe reinstall afterwards..
That's two different people who are now installing after removing GLTron.. Not saying it will solve all cases.. but it does seem likely you wouldn't be able to upgrade with gltron installed..
I'm getting the update on the phone, but it tells me to update using nokia updater. I gather from other posts that people have had success by updating to a previous firmware, but when I use nokia updater, it only offers me the option of re-installing the current firmware?
If you have the extra's devel catalogue installed, there is an update in there (1.1.1) which fixes this issue.
I enabled extras-devel and now Im unable to install Extra protocol plugins for conversations and contacts ... which has a bug inside btw (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...315#post675315) ... so, for some time, Im returning back to PR 1.1 ...
**** thihs stupid phone. i cant even connect it to my pc anymore because the USB PORT IS MADE OF ****. as i was reinstalling 1.1 it disconnects for no reason and now will only charge.
Im very close to selling this phone as its driving me to its wits end.
