Okay, so Maemo 1.2 is here, and there are a few quirky things that I like and dislike about it. One thing I do like is when your handset it locked, and you press the power button you have notification like icons at the bottom (texts etc) so you know what's waiting for you.
Something else that I'm not too keen on is the new menu layout. No more "More" for your applications, everything is on the one menu. For me, that sucks!! I like things in their own place, and it looks too crowded for me. I'd of sooner seen a homepage style menu, with up to 4 pages (sort of like the iPhone) but that's life!!
The new kayboard layout (on screen) is pretty smart though, finally a huge space bar!!
