Lens cover reminder is working here. I just let it run a restore from my backups.
You probably need to enable extras-testing and extras-devel to get a version that works with PR 1.2. (The usual disclaimers apply: If you don't know what I mean by this, search the wiki for these repositories, and what they stand for.)

I've installed Call Notify but can't get it to work either. It says application successfully installed but when I try to open it nothing happens.

EDIT: I have reinstalled Pidgin status and Len Cover Reminder and it worked properly. Still having problems with Call Notify and Recaller.
