I'll be doing this very soon.

I can't wait to buy the android phone with thousands of apps and real support.

    Htc Desire perhaps?

I am quite happy with my n900, but I overestimated how many apps there would be and how polished the system UI was. I will wait for the next top phone after desire.

    edit:
but yeah, there is already tom much whine on this forum

I just want to say two things here.

    1) I had a Motorola Cliq before the N900 and I can honestly say that 95% of all the apps are pointless soundboards or light saber apps.

    2) A friend of mine has gone through the G1, the Cliq an HTC HD2, and fiinally to a Motorola Backflip. He told me yesterdy that while he really likes the keyboard and adjustable screen on the Backflip, my N900's operation felt a lot smoother and more responsive. This with PR 1.1. PR1.2 is much smoother.

So in conclusion, do whatever makes you happy. But let others do the same and just bugger off.

i dont know what some users were thinking when they parted 500 big ones for the n900 but wouldnt it be better to stay with it and do someting usefull like learn a language and write apps for the n900 instead of running to another phone.
atleast if you try to help others by sticking around you will also help yourself by gaining a wealth of practicle information

    think again before hopping on
