So how do I clean up rootfs? I had around 17 MB free, deleted a bunch of widgets and applications and even did some rm in root shell, but I still have only 20 MB free.
Removing applications is slow as h*ll, it seems one measly update requires one or two working days.
Mine refused to install with 33MB free (and displayed a cryptic "Not enough storage space in target location" error message - Nokia really has to work on their error messages).
It worked fine with 40MB free. IIRC, all I had to do was to run an apt-get clean to free up some space (had already disabled extra-testing and extra-devel).
I had 48 mb free and updated via wifi. It seems to have worked (but I did see some sort of error message half way through but it didn't stay long enough to see what it said). Everything seems to be working as expected.
After updating, I have 68mb free, so someone's done some tweaking.
It's a 100+ mb download. and it seems to hang a few times during the update process - just be patient.
I had 48 mb free rootfs and updated the NAM OTA update and it worked fine.
as someone mentioned I got a bried quick message ' operation failed' while the update was one but it continued fine and I have the new update working . Have 77mb free rootfs now post-update.
