I re-flashed my N900 with the latest firmware (PR1.2) this morning, since that completed my phone has been unable to charge whilst connected to my PC (Insufficient power, not charging). Has anybody else experienced this problem?

Which operting system are you using while wanting to charge by USB? With my experiences, Windows always goes crazy when USB devices are plugged in often resulting in this message.

Are you sure a heavy process isn't going on while you try to charge?

That usually means the USB port isn't delivering 1A, but only 500ma.

I see it on my netbook if its unplugged or in powersave mode. Those modes run the USB port at 500ma.

I had this problem with the leaked PR1.2. That happened even with the charger.

The new one, however, works fine...

Did you use the newest eMMC when you flashed the device?
