People are being helpful to start with, regardless of the fact that the words you've chosen makes us feel like military commands from a big boss (e.g. look at your subject). Some people might just respond to you with the same manner as you've expressed in your responses, some might just ignore you. So before you blame people being rude or not helpful, look back.
Say, the nice guy at #4 has already asked the right question, which you bluntly ignored. You don't really need to be very humble to get help. Had you answered the questions in #4 telling him which version of Windows you're using, it'd have been saving you a lot of time.
It's because you overlooked the large section of N900: Windows 64bit (Vista&7) in the wiki that you must first refer to(http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_t...ndows_7_32-bit). However, it's okay to overlook things, it's okay to skip wiki, very few people here would laugh at people being slappy, and we all know the first problem most people encountered in flashing is the 64-bit problem. The problem is you didn't answer to the right question from someone who tried to help, instead spent time fighting with those who asked for fighting, and then you jumped into emotion too quickily.
I use sacrasm to respond you because I understand your impatience, but disagree with you regarding your accusation toward this community, but don't want to use harsh words on you.

Good to hear that. Welcome to Maemo commuinity! Try not to get into another mud-wrestling even when you're invited to. XD
BTW, how come yours is so expensive? It comes with a pony? @_@

Ordinarily this community is very helpful. See the replies that, without passing judgment, direct the OP to the generally accepted solution to the problem as presented. One of these I used myself in February when NSU bricked my N900.
I guess it comes down to this - If you think a guy is trolling then ignore him. If you have useful information then share it. If you need more specific information to be useful then ask for it.
It is nuts that a request for help should degenerate to name calling on this forum. I am embarassed for us.
