Hello,

since about 2-3 weeks I have a problem with my phone connectivity. It's working fine most of the time, but especially whilst driving on the Autobahn/Highway, the phone doesn't manage to get a connection. (All the other passengers have full connectivity). Today I've tried another SIM card with my phone, but couldn't get a better result.
I've also tried to flash my N900 (also eMMC), but no difference.
Does anyone have a suggestion for, what could be wrong or what I could try or change?

Does nobody have an idea on how to solve the problem?
Can oerclocking damage the phone module?

What speed are you doing? I have managed to have good connection at up to 100Mph on the motorway and even managed a skype video call over 3G at 60 mph (not me as I was driving)

Are any of the other phones on the same network as you do? Some operators may have better coverage support. Also make sure you aren't limiting yourself to GSM, 3G tends to get better coverage.

Other thing you might want to try if all fails is switching off other wireless antennas on the phone, e.g. bluetooh, wireless lan, fm transmitter, to see if it makes any different.

Make sure you don't overclock the DSP processor, the traditionally are not very overclockable.

Yes. I tried it just once to see if it worked. It got disconnected after ~30 seconds, though.

Video calls work even on speeds like 200 km/h+ perfectly, at least on the German A5 the 3G network is strong enough.

Try to use it on the ICE train when driving 300 km/h (Frankfurt - Düsseldorf). My old phone was unable to use GSM at this speed. Maybe the N900 is able to
