Lets not generalise in such manner. For any healthy software ecosystem there has to be both free and paid apps coexisting. Ideological divides do not create a successful environment.


As much as I enjoy the free apps and do thanks its developers, I also am willing to pay for apps where developers deem to get paid for their work.

ok so how to install this AFTER the pr1.2 update that erased my apps?
I tried all the commands I saw in the previous page, it keeps coming up with the error msg: "dpkg: status database area is locked by another process."
i already had it installed with the link provided after the paypl
purchase and was working fine before the update.

oh... and i totally agree... the author did stop updating his collection after we bought his app...the bastard...lol

Close the Application Manager or type killall apt-worker

hmmm... so it seems I don't have the file anymore after the pr1.2 update so i can't install it... how do I go about getting it back?

who is the author and how do i contact him...? I would like to have what I paid for...

i created a ticket on the website linked in the first post...i got ticket #82... so ever since the site was created, way before the app was released, only 81 other problems with recorded? lol sounds like it isn't too busy :S

just purchased this application and cant get it to work on PR 1.2. it tells me not-installable in the application manager,and when i check the problems tab i can see that it needs a couple of python dependencies.So i try to download those dependencies from apt-get but they dont seem to install properly on PR1.2. I get a lot of errors. I tried downloading the python package from application manager too but it also fails during installation. I dont think that Prismic WM is compatible yet with 1.2. I hope we get a fix soon because I just bought this thing.

please if anyone has managed to get it working on PR 1.2 let us know thnx!

So i just bought it, but i have got no link to a download or how to download?

Is it because the site doesnt work with chrome ... surly not?

Any sugestions guys?
