hello anyone. I have a question about when or whether it is possible to create an e-book application which can activate bought e-books (f.e. epub files) through the legetic way.
Before the n900 I had a n95 which had an app called mobipocket, which gave this possibility.

I do like my N900 really a lot, and will be even more thankfull when something like this would be there.

I've used a Palm ebook reader in the Garnet VM to read DRM'ed ebooks on my N800. It's a less-than-optimal workaround, but it does work.

True. It would be nice if there was something similar for .epub or .mobi DRMed books, which I suppose are the most common these days.

In Linux, I can read Kindle books, which I guess are the .mobi variety, using the Amazon program Kindle for PC and Wine. Someone actually got Wine running on their N900, plus an emulator -- I wonder if that could work for Kindle for PC?
