USB host on Nokia MeeGo devices (in the future)

About the USB host mode, which has been discussed on this forum.

"the Nokia N900 lacks support for USB On-The-Go"
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N900

Will USB host be supported in future Nokia MeeGo devices?

    If not, why not?
I have not used such small tablets, or bigger tablets either, but at first thought I would like to have USB host ports.

Would some persons look from other companies, if USB host mode will not be supported (rather by default) by Nokia?

This may have discussed already. Please give links, if that has been done. I am just wishing to push Nokia etc. to support USB host mode on MeeGo devices, at least on possible Nokia MeeGo tablets.

(This "USB host mode" topic is about devices, but maybe I put this topic here. Other alternatives are maybe not precise enough.)

They'll most probably support it, they didn't have enough time to get it working (certs etc..) so they dumped the whole OTG idea and released the device (host mode is partially working (and hopefully should be fully working soon), thanks to everyone here for that).

The N8 has OTG, so I see no reason for OTG not to be supported on the next MeeGo / Maemo 6 device.

This should be in Meego category?
