Happened to me also just now, while on holidays in Japan. When I charge, it runs through a cycle that starts with a small vibration, the nokia screen (not backlit), and then black screen. Did anyone figure out why this happens, or more importantly, if there are any fixes except from sending it to repair?

I was just amazed by this product right up to this point. However, now I suddenly lost my mp3-player, my video player, my alarm clock, my phone, and skype while on holidays. Sad to say I am rather annoyed!

OK, so I sent it to repair and got it back a few days later with a sw update. They didn't tell me what happened, but now it is working again
