    thanks for welcoming me JonWW

I agree with "delete" options on your N97 ... they are the same as on E51 - I had used "remove from phone and server" and forgot that there were another options

anyway, I understand "leave messages on the server" differently ...

Which email type of email do you use POP3 or IMAP?

This is why I use IMAP... don't need to mess with which client will delete it or not... it's always on the server. So any deletion will happen everywhere(assuming non-caching IMAP clients).

Totally agree, this should definitely be an option on the N900. Also one thing I have noticed. My email signatures have changed and are non-editable now.

They used to be formatted and all black. Now they're unformatted and golden/yellow. Anyone experiencing this/knows a fix?

    Thx,

I have the same problem that my emails are now deleted from my server when I do not want them to be, no matter whether the leave emails on server box is checked or not. I too have lost some very important emails. As such, I have now twice contacted Nokia with the promise of a response within 48 hours. I have not even had the courtesy of a reply acknowledging receipt of the problem. Is this common with Nokia?
