Is it possible to update/reflash the n900 firmware without using the USB port? Given its fragility, I'm trying to live without it... file transfers can be done over wifi, charging can be done with a separate charger, but how about reflashing the firmware? Any way to do it without USB?

NO is your answer because to have wireless working on the N900 it has to be switched on and for a flash you need it to be in flash mode.
I would love someone to prove me wrong here because i wanted to try the very same thing lol.
