I heard somewhere that there will be further updates for N900, including Qt Mobility and other things...

That is what Nokia say, but they have broken their promise on the N900 time and time again. They have lied again now.
Why would they devote resources to support a platform that is only on 1 phone and used by a small number of users?

nokia have never said there will be no more updates (pr1.3 is in production) and the ovi store is delayed for unknown reasons and as for maps that is something that nokia has stated that they are working towards making better. Qt Mobility is mentioned in pr1.3

PR1.3 have already been confirmed by Ari Jaaksi and Konttori. Only thing we know is that it will include QT Mobility.

After that i don't know and don't really care as i buy new phone every year and in the end of this year i will have MeeGo or Android phone.
