lite.facebook.com if it wasn't already suggested is pretty much the same site... but .. well 'lite'
Apart from the fact that in their wisdom, Facebook have killed it. Which is a real shame cos it worked great, and I even used on my laptop as the full-fat site is sooo slow.
I use iphone.facebook.com now, and it works well enough.
