It's because the pictures all have different white balance and brightness levels. The banding is where the pictures overlap and the system does not compensate properly.

Maybe this will come with a future release?

Is the Pro version in the Ovi Store yet? How much does it cost? And does anyone have some example shots?

Updating to PR1.2 now!

On my 2 year old S60 phone, the "app" is called "camera" and was pre-installed.

Had this on my old i8910 built-in so was pleased this came out, however I'm pissed that there's such a small limit for the higher resolutions of the pro version. Was only able to capture 180deg panorama by setting it to 320x200 :-( Lame as I don't recall a limit with the i8910
