Digging up this old thread, because Nokia broke our lovely, elegant workaround. The power button menu no longer restores keyboard focus to the window underneath!
qobi's workaround still works (although differently now), but has to be run every time
Any way to make non-compliant apps work properly by running a workaround app only once? Or are we doomed to have to run the workaround every time we move away from a non-compliant app and then return?

(I'm hesitant to do so because I rely on things like being able to use bluetooth keyboards and run emacs/latex/... in a Debian chroot and want to find out what breaks before upgrading.)
