Running JoikuSpot 1.2 Premium, N900 PR 1.2 (with titan v37 - ideal settings).
I 'm not albe to enter a WEP key (funny - try to enter 5 chars - always the fifth is somewhat removed?!?) - but anyway.
I'm able to establish a WiFi connection between my iPad and the N900 - but that's it - I'm not able to surf or anything else...
    Any hints? Thanks.

...regarding the WEP bug; JoikuSpot seems to be aware of it (came with PR1.2); copy&paste of a key does work.

Not working for me with v1.2 - it would appear DNS is not working. I get an IP address on my XP laptop of 192.168.2.2 from the phone with DNS and gateway set to the phone's IP address of 192.168.2.1
I cannot resolve any names, i.e. PING WWW.GOOGLE.COM from shell states invalid address.
    Any ideas?
Laptop works fine on any other internet connection, home wifi, hotel wifi, etc. No firewall software installed.
Joiku was practically one of the 1st pieces of software I installed on the phone after the 1.2 flash, so no other software to interfere.

Paid for this app today, they have it on offer of 5 euro this weekend.

Also i have that bug, changing the wep key while your typing but using the on-screen keyboard gets round this.

Works just fine on the laptops
My prob is my Sony Walkman does see the n900 hotspot but just wont connect to it at all. grr and I got it for just that reason!!

Open a command line window and use: ipconfig /all
it will show your actual network configuration, check that you have a DNS server configured. If not, you should configure it by hand from control panel.

I'm trying to make JS working on my N900 but it looks like something is
    not working as (I?) expected.

I'm connecting from a Linux PC running Opensuse 11.2.
Connection is being established correctly and IP address is being
assigned via DHCP but I cannot do anything else but UDP/DNS queries. It looks like incoming TCP packets aren't being received/forwarded.

    Is anyone experiencing same problem?

JoikuSpot was updated today to 1.2.2, but I cannot find the release notes. I still cannot get online, but I do get an IP and DNS seems to work too. Mobile Hotspot works great still at least.

The release notes above are old ones btw.
