Same problem here.
I uninstalled "account-plugin-haze", but I can not uninstall "Pidgin protocols plugins for Conversations and Contacts".

after i uninstalled all the haze and telepathy stuff

und installed the "account-plugin-butterfly" package
(account-plugin-butterfly python-openssl python-papyon python-telepathy telepathy-butterfly)

now i can see my MSN account in the Accounts list and is schown as "Enabled"

a bit strange it is because when i edit this account the username and password fields are empty

and the "My availability" list tells me that im Online.
And i can see both, my icq and msn availability with the green dot...

EDIT:

i think its solved now
i could still not login into my msn account with butterfly, and the empty entry in my accounts list was saying if i want to delete "nil" when i press to delete it.

and i couldnt create a new login

so i removed account-plugin-butterfly with apt-get
apt-get remove account-plugin-butterfly python-openssl python-apyon python-telepathy telepathy-butterfly
after this i shut down my device turned it on again

then i reinstalled the butterfly package account-plugin-butterfly

now my availability list is empty as it should be
and i was able to create a new account for msn und connect to it

I'm having a strange bug - ICQ/AIM can't login (I'm stuck with "Not signed in" message in account settings. In the meantime pidgin works fine. And of course, I did not misspel my password/account name,
Can anyone tell me how to completely remove an account? Cause after purging haze ICQ settings are still saved.

I'm experiencing the same behaviour... (no ICQ login possible, stuck at "not signed in")
As much as i know you can remove it from ~/.rtcom-accounts/accounts.cfg , remove it via the UI first (maybe reboot) and check the file.

Somehow solved it. Here is the solution:
1)Disable devel and testing
2)Remove haze and other stuff. I purged libpurple* and purple-extra-protocols with their friends
3)reboot
4)Install account plugin 0.7 using app. manager from maemo-extras

The butterfly plugin can crash the whole contact list when it is enabled.

What do you mean with "I purged libpurple* and purple-extra-protocols with their friends" Lunatik?

Code:
$ apt-get remove --purge libpurple* purple-extra-protocols
This should remove them with all the settings.
