I am trying to bring my IT up-to-date after the install of the new OS. Besides other things I also installed evince and tried starting it on my N800. No reaction. So I went to my console and started evince from the command line. An error about an undefined symbol (see the title) in libgtk was reported.
I am using N800 with the new 4-2007.26-8 OS.
I also just did a magic.sys update in the AppManager ( I am not sure this has anything to do with the problem).
Also later I found out that Skype does not start anymore and issues the same error on the console. Skype definetly worked several days ago. Has anybody an idea how to fix this?
I did an apt-get install --reinstall of the libgtk2.0 package. The version on my N800:
/home/user # ls -l /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.600.10
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2404212 Jan 25 2007 /usr/lib/libgtk-x112.0.so.0.600.10
This did not resolve the problem.
Oh, I am booting from my Internal SDCard, but this should not be a problem.
Thanks.
