    Building (Compiling) Hildon packages

    Hi all,

I am trying to create an app that alters the hildon-input-method source code, for the benefit of all of us.

My question is how do I compile / build given hildon source code packages into a .deb install file?
    (taken from: http://repository.maemo.org/pool/mae...-input-method/)

I noticed that instead of a Makefile file, there is a Makefile.am file. How do I build that one?

Can I compile it with Madde in any way, or must I install Scratchbox?

Your help is very much appreciated,

    Thanks

Ok.. I figured out that I need to run the ./autogen.sh

But it does not work in MADDE console.
    It lacks many inner files.

Am I doing something wrong? Should I point MADDE to the GTK or Hildon-1 or something? Or there is no escape from using Scratchbox?
