I'm more than a little confused. I was under the impression that we were expecting an ota update to our n900 which would give us access to most if not all of the ovi store. Is this the case? or are nokia updating the store itself bit by bit with new applications specifically for the n900?
You already have access to the full OVI store. They are adding apps, one after another.
Thanks for the link, now I know why I can't see any paid app on my Ovi Store. They aren't available for my country (Brazil), even though I've chosen USA as my country on my account. I guess it checks my IP or something...
Yes yes yes."Look it's open source and we have QT and did I say that QT is amazing and we have this community and we have foundation and this is soooo amazing and developers just develop because we support qt and we are building meego and everything is so amazing....." *wave hands in the air and show powerpoint slides about how you have build foundation on maemo and meego and how important community is...*
Goodness people, I have ooodles of patience, and even I'm very close to reaching the end of my teather when it comes to the Ovi store ... I certainly don't expect the store to open with thousands of apps, but I'm shocked that six months after I bought this phone theere's a grand total of one interesting playable game in the Ovi store ... I can only hope that this upgrade to the store will be followed very shortly by the introduction of a number of good unique fun games ... I don't want the world, but 5-10 nice new games really wouldn't hurt!
Hey, did you know it took about 6 months for Android to get paid app market? Our position isn't much different.
