    Incoming E-mail interception

    Hello,

    Is it possible to intercept the incoming e-mail message to the phone's default e-mail client?

    1) I can see calling of Notify method in the session d-bus (with the e-mail sender and subject) but I have no idea if I can intercept that somehow in my Python application.

    Code:
    method call sender=:1.97 -> dest=org.freedesktop.Notifications serial=50 path=/org/freedesktop/Notifications; interface=org.freedesktop.Notifications; member=Notify
    2) Are the e-mails stored in the eventlogger database? After browsing the database I found only sms/im/call history.

    Any ideas?

    Registering on the dbus to get the same notification as Modest must be easy as pie in Python.

    To actually get the message part of the email, I'm guessing you'd need to handle the different types of email account types that are available.
